Dear members of Sonology’s Concert Mailing List, 

We are happy to invite you to the third Sonology Discussion Concert of the academic year 2025–26 on 21 January 2026 at 19:00 in Amare’s Conservatoriumzaal.

Please note: all discussion concerts will start at 19:00 this season!

The concert will have fixed-media compositions by Nino Baleyte, Jacob Eckhardt and Livija Šiaudvirtaitė, a piece for violin and electronics by Iulia-Andreea Smeu, a performance with a self-built instrument by David Bilek, a performance by Katarina Kadijević, a site-specific performance for light and objects by Eva Morgado Oliveira Aguilar, and improvised music by the Sonology Electroacoustic Ensemble.

Admission and drinks are free. 

Please be on time or even better, 15 minutes early. Doors will stay closed once the concert has started.

FWD - RIPPLES: NEW INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION - WORLD PREMIERE (Cologne, Germany)

Dear friends and colleagues, 

I hope you have had a positive and inspiring start to the year!
 
As announced in my previous Newsletter, I am delighted to announce the world premiere of RIPPLES, my new interactive light and sound installation, taking place next Friday (16.01.26) in the city of Cologne, Germany.

The premiere offers the opportunity to experience the artwork for the very first time with a live performance including 2 percussionists. I truly hope you can join me for this special evening.

My new interactive light and sound installation RIPPLES for 10 sound/light objects and GSR (Galvanic Skin Response) sensors explores the relationship between space, sound, light and human presence by making sound not only audible, but also visible. The performance version of the work combines live-electronics and percussion, transforming movement and interaction into an evolving and organic sonic environment.

World premiere with live performance in Cologne at Fuhrwerkswaage.
