FWD - Sound and light Installation (Düsseldorf)

Dear friends and colleagues, I am pleased to invite you to the following events surrounding the exhbition of my installation REFLEXION - In Sync/Out of Sync- in the city of Düsseldorf (Germany). If you happen to be around, it would be great to see you there! Claudia Robles-Angel REFLEXION - In Sync / Out of Sync-  Installation and Performance by Claudia Robles-Angel   REFLEXION - In Sync / Out of Sync- invites 2x visitors (e.g. couples) to experiment together with their heartrates. By measuring both heartbeats, the goal of this sound and light installation is to be able to synchronise the rates of their hearts, to reflect thereafter upon the inner pulsations of their own bodies and the possibilities of harmony (in sync) or disharmony (out of sync) between two people. Sound and light follow and reflect the different situations of synchronisation /non-synchronisation. During the opening, a performance introduces the main principles of the installation featuring also dance and live-percussion.    Wednesday 26. February, 5 - 7 pm Heart to Heart - Valentine's Day Action. Do your hearts beat in unison? On Valentine's Day, especially couples are invited to try the installation to synchronize their heartbeats. FWD - We say thank you for the biggest year in history! More to come in 2022 [Digital in Berlin]

 

Dear friends and music lovers,   2021 was our biggest Kiezsalon year yet. We adapted the format to suit the circumstances in what was a difficult year for music culture. We hosted more guests than ever before, in exciting new surroundings all around the city.     Thank you for your trust and support. Explore some of the highlights from the series between June to November 2021.     The Kiezsalon will continue in 2022 thanks to the continuing support from the Senate Department for Culture and Europe, having secured four years of funding. We are almost done with the programming for 2022; the new season begins in April, all things going well.     Our annual hideaway at the MADEIRADiG festival in December was once again an unforgettable adventure. We wish to thank everyone for an incredible time at our island retreat, and for your patience and attitude towards the measures that kept us all safe and healthy, aside from maybe one or two hangovers. Explore some of the highlights from the festival.   The 2022 programming is already under way. As always, we will be back on the first weekend of December. Save the date: 1-6.12.2022     We were proud to present our first concert series in Brandenburg. Between July and December, together with the Galerie Bernau, the Heimat, Herz, Orte series featured many memorable evenings.   It was a very pleasant surprise that so many of you took the time to travel a little further than usual to just outside Berlin, by the gates of the beautiful Naturpark Barnim.   Explore some of the highlights from the series.     A big thank you to everyone who came to our sold out Hydroacoustics festival for the scientific and artistic exploration of reverb. Over one October weekend, we presented site-specific original compositions and a rare chance to explore one of Berlin’s most enigmatic spaces – the Wasserspeichers in Prenzlauer Berg.   Here are some impressions from our own Roland Owsnitzki.     Finally, thanks to everyone who attended our sold out debut literature event Canto General (Der große Gesang) at the Pablo Neruda Library. Poems from Neruda’s magnum opus were reinterpreted and performed musically on a chilly November afternoon.
