QUASAR Saxophone quartet- "De souffles et de machines III" - Série Électro, 7e Edition
Ampithéâtre de Gesù, 1200 Rue Bleury, Montréal, Quebec
it is with great excitement I announce to you the upcoming premiere in Montréal, Quebec (Canada). The Saxophone Quartet Quasar, with whom I have been working with since October, will be playing my new piece "not thinking about the elephants" for saxophone quartet and live electronics. The concert also includes pieces by Jimmie Leblanc (Quebec), Georgia Spiropoulous (France) and Sergej Maingardt (Germany). Each composer has a unique way of working with the quartet and the electronics, and it promises to be an sonically exciting and thought provoking programme performed by dedicated and innovative musicians, with whom I am honoured to be working with!
