Welchen Impact generieren die Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft und insbesondere die Kunst für die Entwicklung von Innovationen zwischen Industrie, Mensch und Technologie? -- for English version, please scroll down -- Zu Beginn der Deutschen EU-Ratspräsidentschaft lädt das Kompetenzzentrum Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft des Bundes gemeinsam mit der S+T+ARTS Initiative der Europäischen Kommission am 2. Juli zu einem Symposium ein. Es wird untersucht, wie die Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft und insbesondere die Künste dazu beitragen, dringende gesellschaftliche und ökologischen Herausforderungen zu bewältigen, indem die Beziehungen zwischen Mensch & digitalen Technologien neu gestaltet, Empathie als treibende Kraft der Technologieentwicklung erkannt und Innovationen in allen Industriezweigen gefördert werden. Unter der Überschrift "Empathische KI – Kunst schafft Industrie" werden bei einem Symposium Expert*innen aus Kreativwirtschaft, Kunst, Technologie, Politik und Industrie in einem hybriden Format diskutieren, inspirieren und mit Kunst und künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) experimentieren. Zum fünften Jahrestag der Initiative S+T+ARTS – innovation at the nexus of Science, Technology, and the Arts der Europäischen Kommission (Generaldirektion Connect) steht das Symposium auch im Zeichen der Eröffnung der Ausstellung NEAR FUTURES AND QUASI-WORLDS im STATE Studio in Berlin: Bereits am 2. Juli wird eine hybride Führung durch die Ausstellung möglich sein und am 3. Juli Gespräche zwischen Künstler*innen und Wissenschaftler*innen stattfinden. Which impact do the cultural and creative industries, and in particular the arts, generate for the development of innovations between industry, people and technology? On July 2nd, Germany's Federal Government’s Centre of Excellence for the Cultural and Creative Industries (Kompetenzzentrum Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft des Bundes) and the European Commission‘s S+T+ARTS initiative will examine how cultural and creative industries, and in particular the arts, contribute to overcoming urgent societal and environmental challenges. The CCI offer approaches which reshape the relationship between people & digital technologies, recognise empathy as the driving force behind technology development and promote art and creativity as sources of innovation in all industries. The hybrid symposium "Empathic AI – Art creates Industry", will bring together experts from the creative industries and the arts, technology, policy-makers and industry to discuss, inspire and experiment with art and artificial intelligence (AI). On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the S+T+ARTS – innovation at the nexus of Science, Technology, and the Arts initiative of the European Commission (General Direction Connect), the symposium will also be marked by the opening of the exhibition NEAR FUTURES AND QUASI-WORLDS at the STATE Studio Berlin. For this purpose there will be the possibility of a hybrid tour of the exhibition on July 2, and on July 3 there will be an opportunity to attend discussions between artists and scientists.
