| Dear friends and music lovers, Like the cherry blossoms at the beautiful Gärten der Welt, we emerge from a difficult period of quiet to share the flowers of our hard work behind the scenes with you. This season will see a series of specials spread across Berlin — from grand historic landmarks to hidden gems in intimate corners of the city; both indoor and outdoor, and a happening at one of our favourite public parks. We have selected spaces around the city that allow us to host more guests safely and securely, and in new surroundings. |

| We will start on a Saturday (26.06) with four concerts at the themed gardens of Gärten der Welt in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. Together with Kienberg and neighbouring Wuhletal, the area makes up over 100 hectares of east Berlin. |
---|
| |
| Then on to Bärenzwinger (03.07) at Köllnischer Park, where we will host three open air concerts. The former bear pit once housed Berlin's heraldic animals, and currently serves as a cultural venue for site-specific contemporary art in Mitte. |

| |
| In August (14.08), we will visit Villa Elisabeth, the parish hall of the neighbouring St. Elisabeth’s Church, designed by Schinkel and inaugurated in 1907. With its church park, a green gem in the centre of Berlin, it invites you to linger between and after the concerts. |
---|
| |
| At the end of August (28.08), we will present three different concerts at MaHalla in Oberschöneweide (Treptow-Köpenick). These will be held in the vast, 3000 qm former turbine hall, once part of the AEG (General Electricity Company). |

| After the success of last year’s beautiful sunset Kiezsalon on the rooftop terrace of the Haus der Kulturen der Welt (HKW), we return to the stunning venue in the middle of Tiergarten in September (29.09). As well as our Kiezsalon show here, we look forward to hosting concerts in July as part of this year’s 20 Sunsets festival. |

| |
| At the end of October (27.10), we return to our spiritual home, the 120-year-old historical Musikbrauerei in Prenzlauer Berg. Tucked away between Greifswalder Straße and the Volkspark Friedrichshain, the former Schneider Brewery is a rare building in Berlin, unspoiled by the tide of gentrification. |

| The last Kiezsalon will be in November (19.11) at Charlottenburg’s nineteenth-century Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche. The impressive church is located at Kurfürstendamm, in the centre of the Breitscheidplatz. With almost 6,000 pipes, the organ is not only one of the largest in the city, also one of the most significant works of Karl Schuke. |
