JTTP is an annual project aimed at promoting and celebrating new creative work by young and/or emerging
electroacoustic artists from (or living in) Canada. More information on how to submit your work and

Prizes and Thematic Awards
For the 25th edition of the project, we are happy to announce the addition of three new thematic awards,
named after one of Canada’s pioneering composers and the CEC’s two Administrative co-Directors. We now
have a total of seven thematic awards thanks to the generosity of Kevin Austin, who initiated and supports

• The Hildegard Westerkamp Award for Soundscape and Sound Installation
• The Micheline Coulombe Saint-Marcoux Award for Self-Identified Female or Non-Binary
Electroacoustic Artists
• The Jean Piché Award for Videomusic, New Media and Creative Coding
• The Martin Gotfrit and Martin Bartlett Award for Live Electroacoustic Practices
• The Yves Gigon Award for the Most Outrageous Electroacoustic Work
• The jef chippewa Award for an Electroacoustic Artist Having or Identifying with an Indigenous
Cultural Background
• The Barry Truax Award for Environmental or Ecological Audio Practices

Prix JTTP et prix thématiques
Pour cette 25e édition, nous sommes heureux d’annoncer l’ajout de trois nouveaux prix thématiques, nommés
en l’honneur de l’un des pionniers de la composition au Canada et deux codirecteurs administratifs de la CEC.
