Developed over many months by a dedicated team, the festival invites to a dialogue between electronic music and media art. Under the artistic direction of Karl-Heinz Blomann, BLAUES RAUSCHEN has been exploring the interfaces between humans and machines, reality and fiction as well as sound and silence since 2017.
The 2026 edition focuses more strongly on the process and understands sound as movement between body, technology and space.
Opening minds through art!
In the Ruhr area, spaces are emerging where different aesthetic positions converge and where sound is understood as an ongoing process in the exchange between technology, space and social context.
