Liebe Kulturinteressierte, liebe Freund*innen des Festivals Blaues Rauschen,

in der Episode 5 unseres Podcasts werfen wir einen Blick auf den Bereich Veranstaltungstechnik. Wir treffen uns dazu mit Sven Nowoczyn, Kopf der event mediagroup. Seit dem 13. März 2020 hat sich das berufliche Leben des Veranstaltungstechnikers und seiner Mitarbeiter*innen gravierend geändert. Doch die Schockstarre des Bochumers währte nur kurz. Mit Hilfe seines Teams, seines Vermieters und nicht zuletzt durch die Möglichkeiten der öffentlichen Hand hat Nowoczyn die Krise als Chance begriffen und versucht, das Beste aus der Situation zu machen.

Bevor er also beim nächsten Festival erneut auf mehreren Bühnen im Ruhrgebiet Lautsprecher und Lichttechnik aufbauen kann, berichtet er uns über Krisenmanagement, Kredite und Kollegialität.

Seit Januar fragt „BLAUES RAUSCHEN pre-stage“, der "Podcast vor dem Festival", in 14-tägigem Rhythmus nach den Auswirkungen der Einschränkungen durch die Coronakrise auf Künstler*innen, Kulturverwaltung, Agenturen, Veranstalter*innen oder Bühnentechniker*innen.

In episode 5 of our podcast we take a look at the event technology area. We meet Sven Nowoczyn, head of event mediagroup. The professional life of the event technician and his employees has changed significantly since March 13, 2020. But the shock of the Bochumers lasted only a short time. With the help of his team, his landlord and, not least, the opportunities offered by the public sector, Nowoczyn saw the crisis as an opportunity and tried to make the best of the situation.
