Heimat, Herz, Orte series returns tomorrow w/ Brendan Dougherty — Kiezsalon at Villa Elisabeth this Saturday w/ Galya Bisengalieva, Carmen Villain, & Maya Shenfeld — Waclaw Zimpel added to Kiezsalon at MaHalla.   Dear friends and music lovers,   This weekend we present two shows: Heimat, Hertz, Orte in Bernau on Friday, and Kiezsalon at Villa Elisabeth in Berlin-Mitte on Saturday.     Tomorrow at Galerie Bernau we present the second Heimat, Herz, Orte concert. Berlin-based, US-American sound artist and musician Brendan Dougherty will perform at our favourite cultural space in Brandenburg. A DJ-set from Daniel Meteo (Shitkatapult) will follow in the gallery courtyard — perfect for sampling the local Bernauer beer.   The concert follows the vernissage of Emerita Pansowová and Ofri Lapid. Doors open at 18:00 CET, the concert starts at 20:00. Listen to Dougherty’s ‘Perfecter’ here.     Then this Saturday at Villa Elisabeth we have the first of two August Kiezsalons: the rescheduled evening from last year of Kazakh/British violinist Galya Bisengalieva, Norwegian-Mexican ambient composer Carmen Villain, and Berlin-based composer and sound artist Maya Shenfeld.   Tickets for the originally scheduled Kiezsalon are still valid. Online tickets are sold out. Due to high demand, we have created 2 sessions for this Kiezsalon. All ticketholders have received their timetable via E-Mail through Eventbrite already. Please come to your assigned session only.   There are limited tickets available on the door for the early session. Please arrive no later than 16:30 CET if you wish to grab one.     Finally, there are a handful of tickets remaining for the second Kiezsalon in August at MaHalla in Oberschöneweide (28.08). We are happy to have added Polish multi-instrumentalist composer Waclaw Zimpel to the line-up alongside Thomas Ankersmit and Hüma Utku.     Book your MaHalla tickets     Unfortunately, due to travel restrictions Amanar are not able to perform.
