I feel very honoured to be part of this programme by Distractfold Ensemble. Distractfold presents an exciting mix of solo works from their 2020-21 project, The New Unusual, with pieces by Sivan Cohen Elias, Lee Fraser, Bára Gísladóttir, Andrew Greenwald, Hunjoo Jung , Sam Salem, Ute Wassermann.

And then I go on a mini tour in Mexico City with a choir workshop and 2 performances. So great to be back there after the long covid break!

Participants of the workshop will come together to form a choir with extraordinary contemporary vocal techniques. A range of contemporary graphic scores by poets, artists and composers will be performed from solo to choir.

September 19 2022, VoiceArts Forum, CalArts Lecture Performance Expanding the voice and Workshop Contemporary Vocal Techniques
I present my diverse artistic practice in the context of experimental music, which combines improvisation, composition and performance art. I expand my voice, a hyperphonic and extreme sound instrument, with loudspeakers and objects, various microphones, multi-channel diffusion, bird whistles and field recordings creating sympoietic systems with spaces, objects and other-than-human voices.
Looking back... July 15 2022, The Unwrinkled Ear Concert Series, Arts + Archives, Los Angeles Ute Wassermann + Danny Frankel (percussion), WiIliam Roper (tuba), Vicky Ray (piano) It has been such an enriching experience to meet these phantastic musicians from Los Angeles!
