­ APRIL 2024 ­ Dear readers,   The MÉTAMORPHOSES international acousmatic composition competition is now open (registration closes on 13 May). We have also opened registration for our summer courses, which are just around the corner. MÉTAMORPHOSES 2024 Acousmatic composition competition. Deadline: 13 May 2024       MÉTAMORPHOSES 2024, the 13th biennial acousmatic composition competition organised by Musiques & Recherches (M&R) is launched!   Categories of participants:   Category A: open to composers aged 28 or under in 2024 and students of electroacoustic composition (with proof of this qualification). There is no entry fee. Category B: open to composers wishing to compete in this category and who will be 50 years old or younger in 2024. The entry fee for category B is €25 per composer. Category C: open to composers wishing to compete in this category and who will be over 50 in 2024. The entry fee for category C is €45 per composer. One-week introductory and advanced courses in electroacoustic tools (Max/MSP) are organised every August.
