NEWS - SCANNERS

...a few documentations of some works I did in the recent past. First, there' the video of the piece SCANNERS. It's a revised version of the 2013 piece; for string quintet. The piece Scanners copes with the physical qualities of instrumentalists in electro-acoustic music. It is a choreographed composition, that takes movement as important as sound. The string ensemble turns into a performing machine. The main focus is on the movement of scanning – as well in the interaction of bow and instrument when producing sound as also in purely artificial gestures. It's been performed by Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg. Here's all info on the piece.  Here's a list of several videos taken by visitors in my recent installation SOLID STATE.  Listen to the almost complete recording of "Dark Eyes", which is part of the one-hour piece Supramodal Parser. Performed by Mohna and Nikel Ensemble at Wien Modern last year.  On December 10th at 22:05 there's a one-hour radio feature about my work on Deutschlandradio at Atelier Neue Musik by Hanno Ehrler. Still rather new: My electronic track "The Password Disco" I made for Nadar's LP. On December 9th my new one-our concert installation "Black Mirror" will be premiered by Lucilin as part of the Rainy Days Festival in Luxemburg.
