FWD - Dámaso Rodríguez Joins the ACG Team

Dámaso Rodríguez Joins Arts Consulting Group
as Vice President
BOSTON — Arts Consulting Group (ACG), the leading provider of hands-on management consulting services to the arts and culture industry, today announced that Dámaso Rodríguez has joined the firm as Vice President within the Planning & Capacity Building area. Based in Portland, Oregon, he has worked as a producer, director, educator, and arts administrator at theaters and universities, bringing more than 20 years of experience as an arts leader at both start-up organizations and venerable institutions across the United States.

“The artistic process of creating a live performance—whether a play, musical, opera, dance, symphony, or other collaborative work—invariably requires the formation of a new community. It is a community comprised of the generative artists, performers, behind-the-scenes makers, and administrators doing the ever-complex labor of creating the organizational vehicle that delivered the mission behind the performance. They have all agreed to make something together and create moments with an audience of vital, honest human-to-human exchange. It is why the arts are eternal. No matter the challenges or shifts in the world, from war to recession to pandemic, we share a need to create community through art and to witness the collaboration of those called to make it.”
Rodriguez’s professional and client work includes:

Artists Repertory Theatre
Central Oregon Center for the Arts
Furious Theatre Company
