DEGEM News plus: FWD - „cycle and recyle“ @ BLAUES RAUSCHEN 06.

ab 6. Juni ist im Essener FORUM KUNST & ARCHITEKTUR zum Auftakt des Festivals BLAUES RAUSCHEN eine besondere Ausstellung zu sehen...und zu hören:

"cycle and recycle"
Re:fuse, Re:duce, Re:use, Re:cycle.

Durch den Besuch der Ausstellung 'cycle and recycle' mit den Fotografien von Paul Bulteel in der Galerie Verbeeck-Van Dyck in Antwerpen wurde Karl-Heinz Blomann angeregt, sich mit der akustischen Dimension von Recycling-Prozessen zu beschäftigen. Daraus hat er dann das gleichnamige Projekt mit 10 Klangkünstler*innen im Rahmen des Festival Blaues Rauschen entwickelt.
Die Bilder Bulteels sind nun erstmalig in Deutschland zu sehen. Und nicht nur optisch, sondern auch akustisch verbergen sich hinter dem Begriff „Trash“ und der Begrifflichkeit „cycle and recycle“ viele mögliche Ausdeutungen.

Zu hören sind ab 6. Juni Klangkompositionen von:

from June 6, a special exhibition can be seen...and heard...at the FORUM KUNST & ARCHITEKTUR in Essen to kick off the BLAUES RAUSCHEN festival:

"cycle and recycle"
Re:fuse, Re:duce, Re:use, Re:cycle.

By visiting the exhibition 'cycle and recycle' with the photographs of Paul Bulteel in the gallery Verbeeck-Van Dyck in Antwerp, Karl-Heinz Blomann was inspired to deal with the acoustic dimension of recycling processes. From this he then developed the eponymous project with 10 sound artists* as part of the Blaues Rauschen festival.
Bulteel's images can now be seen in Germany for the first time. And not only visually, but also acoustically, the term "trash" and the concept of "cycle and recycle" conceal many possible interpretations.
