Next week: Kiezsalon opening w/ Jessica Ekomane, Rosaceae, Alicia Edelweiss and Otis Sandsjö | Saturday, 26.06.2021   Dear friends and music lovers,   For the season opening in 2 weeks, we begin with 4 concerts at the themed gardens of Gärten der Welt with computer musician Jessica Ekomane, the evocative landscapes of Hamburg-based sound artist Rosaceae, a solo performance from Swedish saxophonist Otis Sandsjö, and the anomalous accordion music of Vienna-based singer-songwriter Alicia Edelweiss.     Jessica Ekomane is a French-born, Berlin-based electronic musician and sound artist. Her practice unfolds around live quadraphonic performances and installations that seek a cathartic effect through the interplay of psychoacoustics, the perception of rhythmic structures, and the interchange of noise and melody. She was one of six composers chosen as collaborators by Natascha Süder Happelman for her installation at the German pavilion of the Venice Biennale 2019. Listen to her song Common Fate.
