View this email in your browser (English version below) Save the Date: BLAUES RAUSCHEN 24.05.- 08.06.2024   Hallo , die Termine für das nächste Festival BLAUES RAUSCHEN stehen fest: Vom 24. Mai bis zum 08 Juni 2024 präsentiert open systems e.V. zum sechsten Mal ein internationales Programm zeitgenössischer künstlerischer Auseinandersetzung mit audiovisuellen Kreativ- und Produktionstechniken. In Soundexperimenten, elektronischer Musik, Klangkompositionen, Performance, Tanz und Installationen werden die Übergänge von analogen zu digitalen Tools zum Fließen gebracht und in Live-Format auf diversen Bühnen sowie in der persönlichen Begegnung mit den Künstler*innen und mit dem Publikum thematisiert. Als Labor für künstlerische Entwicklung und technische Erprobung legt BLAUES RAUSCHEN Wert auf Experiment und Innovation: Viele der eingeladenen Künstler*innen erarbeiten zur Zeit neue Projekte, die sie beim Festival zur Premiere bringen oder die als Projektstudien zu erleben sein werden – musikalische und performative Überraschungen sind garantiert! Diese folgen auch in diesem Jahr dem Prinzip der dicht aufeinanderfolgenden Slots – jede Performance ist ca. 25 min. lang. Zudem wird erneut ein professionell begleiteter Sound-Workshop durchgeführt, dessen Teilnehmende mit Praktiken im Umgang mit analogen und digitalen Instrumenten experimentieren und eine gemeinsame Komposition erarbeiten, die sie zum Finale von BLAUES RAUSCHEN 2024 zur Aufführung bringen.   Neben Bühnen in Essen, Dortmund - als Teil der ExtraSchicht - , Bochum, Gelsenkirchen und Herne wird das Festival in diesem Jahr erstmalig auch in Witten stattfinden. Mit sechs kooperierenden Städten zählt BLAUES RAUSCHEN damit zu den größeren Projekten der Ruhrgebietskultur! Jeder Programmtag in den sechs Städten wird von unterschiedlichen Künstler*innen gestaltet – in Kürze wird die Festivalleitung dazu ein erstes Line-Up bekanntgeben. BLAUES RAUSCHEN freut sich auf ein wie immer neugieriges Publikum und einen intensiven Austausch mit allen Künstler*innen und Interessierten. Der WDR hat dazu eine eigene Webseite mit Zukunftsmusik aus dem Ruhrgebiet zusammengestellt >> Zur WDR Webseite >> Hello ,   the dates for the next BLAUES RAUSCHEN festival have been set: from 24 May to 8 June 2024, open systems e.V. will be presenting an international program of contemporary artistic exploration of audiovisual creative and production techniques for the sixth time. In sound experiments, electronic music, sound compositions, performance, dance and installations, the transitions from analogue to digital tools will be made to flow and addressed in live format on various stages as well as in personal encounters with the artists and the audience.   As a laboratory for artistic development and technical testing, BLAUES RAUSCHEN emphasizes experimentation and innovation: many of the invited artists are currently working on new projects that they will premiere at the festival or that can be experienced as project studies - musical and performative surprises are guaranteed! This year, too, they will follow the principle of closely consecutive slots - each performance is approx. 25 minutes long. In addition, a professionally accompanied sound workshop will once again be held, where participants will experiment with practices in dealing with analog and digital instruments and develop a joint composition that they will perform at the finale of BLAUES RAUSCHEN 2024. In addition to stages in Essen, Dortmund - as part of ExtraSchicht - , Bochum, Gelsenkirchen and Herne, the festival will also take place in Witten for the first time this year. With six cooperating cities, BLAUES RAUSCHEN is one of the larger projects in Ruhr area culture! Each day of the program in the six cities will be designed by different artists - the festival management will announce the first line-up shortly.   As always, BLAUES RAUSCHEN is looking forward to a curious audience and an intensive exchange with all artists and interested parties.
