Learn about equipment, software, and recording techniques and receive mentorship from staff producers, engineers, and technologists. Applicants should have a combination of formal training and/or professional experience or aptitude in audio engineering. Apply by April 10 July 8 - December 18, 2019 Audio Post Production Practicum This program is a continuing education experience for emerging audio post production engineers with mature artistic insight and advanced practical skills. Learn about equipment and software, and develop mixing and editing techniques while working on a wide variety of post production projects. You'll also have access to professional studio spaces. Apply by May 8 Article Engineer Shawn Everett shares his creative recording techniques Banff Centre alumni Shawn Everett talked to Niclas Jeppsson of Reverb about the evolution of his career and his creative recording techniques. Shawn is a Grammy and Juno award-winning producer, engineer, and mixer. Find out what he learned from his experience working in Banff Centre's production facilities. Apply by June 19 August 31 - September 7, 2019 Mountain Photography Residency Learn how to tell compelling visual narratives through images.
